  • Authored and passed the New England Wilderness Act of 2006, which protected 34,500 acres of the White Mountain National Forest.

  • Authored and passed legislation protecting the Lamprey River watershed.

  • Protects civil liberties.

  • Voted to increase the child tax credit and eliminate the marriage tax penalty, providing real relief to New Hampshire families.

  • Voted to eliminate the death tax and voted to reduce income taxes.

  • Voted for $46 billion in tax cuts over five years, including $26 billion in tax relief for small businesses.
